Joan M. Salaba, 68, of Calumet City, IL passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Salaba; cousins, Carol Lathrop and June Valiska; Godson, Robert Dittman Jr; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Veronica and Edward Salaba; brother, Michael Salaba. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 10:00 am from the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Joan loved to travel and play bingo. She will be missed by all of her friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.
