Joanne C. Smith, 87, of Schererville, IN passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Noren and Cathy (Steven) Yates; sons, Timothy (Lynn) Murphy and Michael (Mary Beth) Murphy; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Murphy; husband, Harold Smith; and sister, Marilyn Distler. Joanne retired from South Holland Bank after many years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area or a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.
