Joanne M. Kicho, 80, of Munster, IN passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. She is survived by her sons, Joseph R. (Allison), James (Karyn), Thomas (Jill); daughter Amy (Curtis) Dennis; sisters Fedora (late Mike) Coduti, Martha (Paul) Burns, Deanna (Wes) Fry; several nieces and nephews. She was a proud grandmother to her 9 grandsons: Joey, Richie, Eddie, Owen, Andrew, CJ, Corey, Evan, and Ethan. She was also looking forward to her first granddaughter being born at the end of October. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kicho; sisters, Vilma Juranovich and Amelita Ciardetti. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. James Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland, IN. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Joanne stayed busy traveling on bus tours, shopping, gardening, and weekly exercise classes. She was a member of St. James Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and she also volunteered with the Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
