John A. Morasan, 82, of Hammond, IN. passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Morasan; daughter, Elizabeth (Harry) Baginski; sons, Michael (Patricia) Morasan and Steven (Sharon) Morasan; grandchildren, Jason, Kristen, Catherine, Meghan and Emily; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in a private ceremony. John was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute and served with the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) in his memory would be appreciated.
