Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.John served with as a Lake County Sheriff for 10 years. He retired from the Munster Police Department after 20 years and served as a U.S. Marshall for 2 years. John was a member of V.F.W Post 2697 in Munster and the Munster F.O.P. Lodge 147. In lieu of flowers, contributions to I Wanna Go Home Rescue, P.O. Box 324, Dyer, IN 46311, would be appreciated.
