John B. Simpson, 88, of Sauk Village, IL passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011. He is survived by his loving son, Robert Simpson and several nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Juanita (nee Conley). Visitation will be on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 651 E. 166th St. South Holland, IL. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM with Pastor Beverly Conway officiating. John served with the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II; retired from Inland Steel Field Forces; Past President of the Sauk Village Leisure Timers Senior Club; Past Worthy Patron of the Englewood Chapter of O.E.S. and a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
