John F. Rymarowicz, age 78, of Hammond, IN passed away at home on July 13, 2015. He was born on October 1, 1936 in East Chicago to Casimir and Mary (Martyniec) Rymarowicz. Beloved uncle of Charles, Deanne and Stanley. He was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of East Chicago Roosevelt High School. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chicago Technical College and worked as a draftsman for Combustion Engineering and its successors for over 40 years. Preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Walter and Norma Rymarowicz; brothers, Charles M. Rymarowicz and Joseph Rymarowicz; sister, Lillian Rymarowicz. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid car buff and also enjoyed live theatre and polka music. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Bridget Roman catholic Church, 107 Main St. Hobart, IN. 46342. Fr. Bertino officiating. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
