John Kresich, 80, of Dyer, IN formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice; sons, John (Robin) Kresich and Mark Kresich; grandchildren, Joshua (Sherria), Brad and Jonathan Kresich; brother, Tony (late Pat) Kresich; sister, Mary (late Warren) Pfeuffer; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Rich) Emerson and Kathy (Fred) Young; many nieces and nephews; dear friends, Doris, Denny and Cindy, Phil and Cookie. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Matilda (Matt) Nosich, Josephine (Art) Latham and Helen (Jim) Anzalone; brother, Joseph Kresich. Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 3:30-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Saturday from 11:30 am -12:00 pm at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 12:00 pm at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be private.John was a member of the Sokol club. He retired from Acme Steel after 34 years of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated.
