John Joseph Dull, 71 of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009. He is survived by his wife: Joyce (nee Larson); sons: Dennis Dull of Hammond, IN, Mark Dull of Chicago, IL and John J. Dull of Hammond, IN; twin granddaughters: Mary Catherine and Christina Dull of Flossmooor, IL; brother: Steve Rita Holescko of AZ.; sister: Yolanda (George) Mitros of WV; several nieces and nephews; Preceded in death by his brother: Julius Holescko and mother and father in laws: Earl and Anne Larson. Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN and Tuesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN with Fr. Charles Niblick officiating; Interment: Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN John was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Union Carbide as supervisor of the lab water treatment plant and was a member of the American Legion Post 232.
