John L. Harney, 91 of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Irene in 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Maureen (Paul) Fleetwood of Clermont, FL.

John’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes placed with his wife’s ashes at Memory Lane Cemetery.

John loved to run and walk at Wicker Park.

Our deepest condolences to Maureen and Paul. Uncle Johnnie lived a long, happy life. As a child, he taught me to "live and let live". I joined Uncle Johnnie and Auntie Irene at their beach house (Monticello?) many, many times and I loved going to the fairgrounds with them. They raised a strong, beautiful woman in Maureen.
