Beloved Father, John Longazo, age 93, U.S.Navy WWII Veteran and proud Purdue University Class of 1950 alum, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2017. He is survived by his loving daughters, Patricia Jewett and Pamela (Rod) Anderson; devoted grandchildren, David Michael (Jill) Jewett, Jr., Bernard (Christina) Jewett, Brett (Kate Baker) Anderson, Nicholas Jake Anderson; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and dear brothers, Steve (Grace) Longazo and Andrew Longazo. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Veronica B. Longazo; parents, Nicholas and Anna Longazo; and brother, George “Shuckey” Longazo. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. James the Less Catholic Church 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Keith Virus. Interment will be private. Visitation will on Wednesday, at the church, from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in our Father’s name to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
