John will be missed by many. To you Mary Lou, to Bob and to all your family, John was always an achiever of whom, I, as a fellow CPHS 1958 classmate, and everyone who has ever met him will remember and be proud of. John & I shared many memories of the CPHS band and the fun times we had. All of his classmates who were fortunate enough to attend the last reunion were glad he had the strength to be there. John was an asset to his community, his school and, most of all, to his family. God bless.

John and I were classmates when I moved to Crown Point in 7th grade and remained solid friends through college, when we would spend time together during summer breaks in Crown Point. I saw John at high school reunions thereafter and was so impressed by his career achievements. He lived a life of accomplishment that would have made anyone proud.I'll always remember how as Chair of our 50th reunion committee in 2008 John pulled off a hugely successful reunion weekend, though his illness had begun. My heartfelt condolences to his family; I know how John will be missed.Richard Turner
