Jon W. Michaels, 39 of Valparaiso, IN formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He is survived by his son: Benjamin Michaels; parents: William and Rosanne Michaels; sisters: Dawn Michaels and Melissa Westfall; nephews: Vincent Kesic and Nick Westfall; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home. Jon was a loving father, son and brother who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a musician who recorded and released several CDs. In lieu of flowers, contributions to an account being set up at Citizens Financial Services for Ben’s education would be appreciated.
