Whiting, IN- Jose Alberto Rosado, age 89, of Whiting, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He will be missed by his wife of over 50 years, Marcelina, and his children and grandchildren.
Jose grew up in Puerto Rico and was one of 14 children. At the age of 15, he came to Chicago seeking employment and new opportunities. He came to work at ComEd, where he was a dedicated employee of over 30 years. He was a resident of Chicago for many years, and was a true Chicagoan at heart. His favorite pastimes included watching wrestling, tinkering with tools, and playing with his dogs. He also especially loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN from 3 -7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, IN. Interment will follow at St. Joseph/ St. John Cemetery, 1547 167th Street, Hammond, IN.
