Jose “Manuel” Meza, age 44 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023.  He is survived and loved by his wife, Laura (nee Alcantar) Meza; children, Adyleen, Emmanuel, Julianna and Azrrael; parents, Alejandro Meza Nunez and Teresa Meza Duarte; siblings, Cristerna Meza Duarte (Eleazar Nunez Carreno), Alejandro Meza (Maria Meza), Secundino Meza Duarte (Sandra Meza), Jose Epifanio Meza (Veronica Meza), Armando Meza (Maria Irene Trujillo) and Marcos Meza Duarte; in-laws, Manuel and Maria Alcantar; brother-in-law, Manuel Alcantar (Rocio C. Alcantar); and all nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 DIRECTLY at St. Casimir Catholic Church 4340 Johnson St. Hammond, IN with 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Eduardo Malagon.  Interment will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass.  In lieu of flowers, please visit www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-for-manuel-meza
