Joseph “Ted” Graden, age 92, of Munster, passed away peacefully at his nursing home on Monday, September 7, 2020. He was born April 13, 1928 in Gary, IN to Donald and Martha Graden. Ted was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Sara Graden, on January 24, 1948. Ted, a WWII veteran, retired from the Prudential Insurance Company after 35 years of service. He enjoyed playing bridge, computers, yardwork, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ted is survived by his loving children: Martie (Leon), Jeff (Kathy), and Mark (Kathy); adored grandchildren: Joe (Kelly), Sara, Matthew, Alex, Heather, and Nicole (Philip); and dear great-grandchildren: Jade, Autumn, Alexis, and Emma. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Martha; his wife Sara; infant granddaughters Megan and Mary; brothers Don (Mary Ann), Howard (late Marge), and Regis (Donna); and niece Sharon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Dr., Munster, IN 46321 would be much appreciated.
