Joseph M. Petry, 95, of Highland, IN passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. He is survived by his grandchildren, Donna (Richard) Driscoll and Robert (Jackie) Ruf; great grandchildren, Annie, Ellie, his namesake Joseph, Augie and Leo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie; daughter, Janice Ruf, son-in-law, August Ruf Jr. and brother, Robert Petry.Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 AM with a Funeral service at 11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private.Joe was a longtime resident of Northwest Indiana and a former member of the Teamsters. He loved to play cards and spend time with his family. Contributions to the American Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
