Joseph Martin Gargas, 88 of Dyer, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He is survived by his children, Joseph (Donna) Gargas, Mary Lynn (David) South and James (Meghan) Gargas; grandchildren, Ashley, Malory, Joshua, Nicole and Brian; great grandchildren, Kara, Azariah and Ridge; sister, Audrey Simons; brother-in-law, Fred Ganz; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Gargas.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be private. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.

Joe retired from Standard Oil after 40 years of service and served with the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org/indiana in his memory would be appreciated.
