Joshua Eli Alvarez, age 19 passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. He is survived by his parents, Chassidy and Wilfredo Reillo; life-partner, Alizea Yanez and soon to be, Baby Alvarez; siblings, Jeremiah Alvarez “Ely” Baby Jay, Angelo Recio and Anthony Reillo; his Nana, Lydia Mateen; uncle, Bubba; big cousin, Justin and little cousin, Lamia “Baby Jalen”; his closest friends, Nando, Chuey, Nuggie and Zay; step-mother, Virginia L.; and siblings, Henry and Jesslyn; biological father, Jesse V.; paternal siblings, Damien, D’Anthony, J’siah; and numerous, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.  Josh was preceded in death by his big cousin, Angel.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 at KISH FUNERAL Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN officiated by Pastor J. Calaway.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be on Sunday, at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Josh was a person who always made sure his girlfriend felt loved, protected and safe.  He loved his family and friends.  Josh was someone wonderful and loved as one could be.  He was a loving son, brother and uncle.  Josh will be dearly missed!
