Joyce Ann Smith

Joyce (Gritton) Smith, age 70, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Munster, passed away on August 10, 2010. Survived by her three children, Don Smith of Bowling Green, Kentucky; Lynne (Mark) DeRolf of Munster, Indiana and Mary Kay (Marc) Sierra of Brentwood, Tennessee. Brother Richard (Arlene) Gritton of Webb Lake, Wisconsin; Sisters Caroline Stefanelli of Schererville, Indiana and Dorothy (Thomas) Hull of Sun City, Arizona. Six grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Danny, Patrick, Ricky and Mary Ann. Many nieces, nephews and dear childhood friends. Preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1990 and her daughter Katherine in 1993.Private graveside service to be held in Tampa, Florida.

Joyce and I worked together at Chase but we were also friends outside of work. She would often spend time in my office just talking. What a ball of energy she was. She will be missed. I pray that she is now resting in the presence of our Lord. My condolences to the family.

I was a co-worker of Joyce' at Chase. She was so much fun and always had this great way of saying things that made you laugh when things were crazy at work. My condolences to the family, please celebrate her, she truly deserves it.
