Joyce E. Hastings, 83 of Munster, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Beloved wife for 64 years of Burton Hastings; Loving mother of Linda (Vince) McKinnon, Dawn (Steve) White, Burt (Penny) Hastings, Bill (Stacey) Hastings and Sherri (Chris) Bardoczi; Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 14; Fond sister of Marilyn (Richard) Yost; Caring cousin of Jack Glauner; Preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Verna Moore; sister, Barbara Stuebe; granddaughter, Tricia Hastings. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Monday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Gillespe officiating. Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Joyce’s family was her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
