Joyce Vale, 83, of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Mary Lisa) Vale; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Danny and Gina Vale; brother, George Hetrick; sister, Sally Borkowski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter “Wally” Vale in 1974 and her brother, Gene Hetrick. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
