Judy Seehausen, age 69, of Dyer, IN passed away of natural causes on Thursday, December 10, 2015. She is survived by her son, Michael (Kelly) Seehausen; daughter, Karen (Ryan) Somers; grandchildren, Drake, Clark, Jack and Ava; brother, Raymond (Deb) Hall; brother-in-law, Bob Sullivan and numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Violet Hall; brother, Billy; sister, Sonja Sullivan.A graduate of Purdue University, Judy got her start as a junior high English teacher and then spent 25 years as a high school guidance counselor & union representative in the Lake Central School District. She was a smart and witty lady, and this combined with her compassion and integrity, made her have an impact on so many who sincerely appreciated her. She was blessed and we were blessed to have had her in our lives.In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Humane Society of the Calumet Area in her memory would be appreciated.Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 10:00 am from the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
