Karen Monaldi, 61, of Valparaiso, IN and Laguna Vista, TX passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 19, 2015, her 38th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons, Joseph (Katie) Monaldi and Kevin Monaldi; grandson, Anthony Monaldi; mother, Lee Dremonas; sisters, Janice (Dan) Donahue and Christine (Bill) Pierce; brother, George (Mary) Dremonas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Dremonas and her grandson, Joseph Monaldi Jr.A celebration of Karen’s life will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Aberdeen Manor Chapel, 216 Ballantrae Street, Valparaiso, IN. Friends may visit with the family after the service at the Aberdeen Manor. Family and Friends are asked to bring pictures of Karen to her Life Celebration.Karen was the 1969 Indiana State Amateur Golf Champion a longtime member of the LPGA. She was a Teaching Pro and a High School Golf Coach. Karen was involved for several years with the Lowell Junior Miss Program.
