Katherine “Kitty” Boyd, 68, of Munster, IN passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Jason) Stricklin; granddaughters, Mackenzie and Kaitlynn Stricklin; brothers, John (Mary) Katos and Raymond (Janet) Katos; sister, Ellie (Thomas) Marinier; niece, Carolyn (David) Culberg; nephew, Jeffrey (Kayla) Marinier; great nephew, Joshua Culberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Aldona Katos; nephew, James Katos. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 10:00 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 8955 Columbia Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Lithuanian National Cemetery, Justice, IL. Kitty retired from School District 122 as a teacher and principal. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed visiting with family during monthly senior luncheons. It made her happy to spend time with her lifelong friends at SLIC meetings. Memorial contributions to the Westminster Presbyterian Church Youth Group in her memory would be appreciated.
