Kathleen F. Mehok, 83 of Highland, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She is survived by her sons: Thomas (Rosemarie) Mehok and Robert (Helene) Mehok; daughters: Janice (Gene) Kelly and Fran Wrobel; grandchildren: Stephanie, Ryan, Kersten, Sherri, Christopher, James and Amanda; sister: Betty (late Chester) Lulinski; She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Stephen J. Mehok and sister: Donna Gjeldum. Visitation will be on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. James the Less Church, Highland, IN with Fr. Keith Virus officiating. Interment will be a St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of the Calumet Area in her memory would be appreciated.
