Kenneth Dearborn Reed, 70, of Schererville, IN. formerly of Munster, IN. passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 15, 2008; Born May 8, 1937, the son of the late Kenneth W. and Josephine Reed; Beloved husband for 51 years of Shirley Anne Reed (nee Mosca); Loving father of Dr. Kenneth W. (Jeannette) Reed and John P. (Kristan) Reed; Cherished grandfather of Kylie Maren, Cameran Lee, Kenneth Christian and Blake William Reed; Fond brother of Jacqueline (Al) Gomez; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his step father Milo Houser; A Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM from Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN.Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00-8:00 PM; Kenneth practiced law for the past 46 years with partner and friend Harold Abrahamson and was one of Indiana’s most active trial and appellate attorneys. He was a member of the Lake County and Indiana State Bar Associations; He loved the law and if he found any aspect of it unjust, he fought relentlessly to bring about change through the wisdom of the judiciary.
