Although I didn't know Kirk, his brother Cass was a close friend of mine, and spoke highly of him. If he was anything like Cass, heaven indeed has gained another angel. Prayers of comfort to the family.

To a genuine, classy guy, thanks for all the memories together, including junior high sports, traveling to HHS daily for four years, many hoops games in your driveway and at Kenwood Gym, the countless post-game drive-a rounds, and the New York-DC trip! May your caring spirit live on with all of us who knew you! Condolences, peace, and blessings to the family!

Sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kirk Pinkerton, a man who touched many people in positive ways, and left the world a better place. Many fond memories of Kirk, from IU to golf in the region and especially being part of the "poker club", a card game where no one ever lost, everyone was a winner.......RIP Kirk, you will be missed by many. Kirk’s presence in this world will be sorely missed. Kirk and I knew each other most if not all our lives. He was a joy to be around. He had a big and gracious heart. He was a loving person.
I can remember many good times at their family’s home on Park Place joking, laughing and playing basketball. Precious memories. I was fortunate to be invited with so many friends, to his home for his Holiday parties, what a joy.
I share his family’s grief at his passing, and wish him joy and comfort in his new home. That house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

A scholar and a gentleman; a comrade in Con Law, Torts, Contracts, the "Socratic Method" and all other things that vexed us as 1L's; an ardent pursuer of the "perfect" golf swing; and a better friend. Godspeed, Pink. My condolences to the family.
