Lawrence Grambo, age 76, passed away at his home on December 12, 2025, in Schererville, Indiana. Larry will truly be missed by his friends, family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graduate of Purdue University, Larry demonstrated exceptional athletic talent, earning the national honor of “All-American” for his remarkable speed on the track. His dedication to athletic excellence continued throughout his life through his training in the martial arts, where he achieved the distinguished rank of 10 Degree Black Belt, Grand Master Bandalan Doce Pares.
Larry was a beloved family man. He is survived by his sister Leandra; brother, Greg; sister-in-law, Laura; niece Lindsay; and three nephews, Steven, Gregory and Kyle, all of whom brought great joy.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 DIRECTLY at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 1 E. Wilhelm St. Schererville, IN with a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass offered by Reverend Martin Dobrzynski. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Crown Point, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m.
