Len Ollearis, age 77, of Dyer, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Len Ollearis, age 77, of Dyer, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathleen Ollearis; children, Larry (Wendy) Ollearis, Kathy Ollearis, Billy (Angie) Ollearis and Erin (Kurt) Graves; grandchildren, Tague, Brittanni (Ryan), Jenni, Quinn (Alex), Nick, Jake, Julia, Syd, Rylee and Luke; son-in-law, Bill (Heidi) Kapovich; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, James and Johnny. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Ollearis and father, Lawrence Ollearis; daughter, Julie Kapovich; grandson, Tyler Graves; and brother, Lawrence Ollearis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 DIRECTLY at St. Ann Catholic Church 3010 Ridge Rd. Lansing, IL. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Alsip, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church on Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. until the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Len was a devoted husband, amazing Dad and grandfather, and super Green Bay Packers fan. He was the owner of Len’s Auto Parts and helped many, a man loved by all for his giving nature and service. Len served his country in the U.S. Marines, and was a frustrated golfer that loved the game almost as much as his golf buddies. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Len’s name to St. Jude Hospital.
