Leonor Melero, age of 79 Calumet City, IL passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. She is survived by her daughters, Maria del Carmen (Albert) Negrete, Rosa Isela (Luis) Melero-Garcia and Araseli (Alejandro) Melero-Lopez; sons, Jose Mario Melero, Leonides (Emmy) Melero, Francisco Javier (Therese) Melero and Eliazar Melero; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Manuela Corral-Melero. Leonor is preceded in death by her parents, Candelario and Arcadia Corral; husband, Mario Melero; son, Eloy Melero; three sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 DIRECTLY at Jesus, Shepherd of Souls Catholic Church (formerly St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church) 768 Lincoln Ave. Calumet City, IL with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Luis Valerio-Romero. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the reciting of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 6:00 p.m.
