Linda Marie Campbell  74 of Munster and Hammond passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 surrounded by her children. She is survived by three children: Kelley (Joseph) Campbell of Crown Point, Michael (Tiffany) Campbell of Crown Point and Julie Campbell of Munster; her brother, George Szeman; her nephew and niece, Scott and Laura Szeman respectively; and her granddaughter, Teagan Campbell.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Szeman; and her former husband, Kevin Campbell.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 DIRECTLY at St. James the Less Church 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland, IN. Visitation will begin at the church at 10 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gregory Bim – Merle officiating. Burial will follow at St. John – St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond with a luncheon back at the church immediately thereafter.

Linda attended Purdue University Calumet and was a member of Theta Phi Alpha. Linda enjoyed remaining in contact with her sorority sisters throughout life and attending sorority events. Aside from being a mother, Linda worked as an executive administrative assistant for CNA in Chicago. Linda loved reading a good book, watching movies, adding to her jewelry collection and drinking Diet Dr. Pepper. Linda will be remembered for being a social butterfly who enjoyed the company of friends and family. She will be missed and remembered by all that knew her.
