Born on February 22, 1934, in Chicago, IL Lois Ann Galullo lived a life of devotion to her family and friends. She was a mother of two, grandmother of four, great-grandmother of two, sister and friend. Lois was known for her passionate spirit and the deep connections she made throughout her life.
Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl G. Jesse; her son, Steven; her sister, Vera; and heartbreakingly, her husband of 49 years, Frank Galullo, just one day before her passing. She also mourned the loss of several lifelong friends, whom she held incredibly dear and whose memories she carried with her always.
She is survived by her son, Carl G. (Lynda) Jesse, Jr.; and her legacy lives on through her grandsons, Steven (Danielle), Carl III, Charles (Loan); and granddaughter, Gina. Lois, known as “Nonie” by her grandchildren, was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Declan.
Lois will be remembered for her love of family and the traditions she instilled that brought her loved ones closer together. She cherished laughter and togetherness, and found strength in the bonds of love and friendship that she cultivated over the years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Church 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN in remembrance of Lois Ann Galullo. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
