Lorraine Collins, 85 of Schererville, IN passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Beloved wife for 35 years of Michael Collins; loving mother of Russell Pokrewczynski and Carol (Terry) Mangan; cherished devoted grandmother of Bryan and Tracey Mangan; cherished sister of Pat (Wayne) Lucas and Sandy (Dan) Brainer; numerous nieces and nephews; 2 stepsons, 2 stepdaughters and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophie Kornacki; brothers, Robert and Eugene Kornacki. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Foundation in her memory would be appreciated.
