Lorraine Venturini, 86, of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She is survived by her son, Dr. Michael (Donna) Venturini of Carmel, IN; daughter, Annette (James) Rice of Munster, IN; grandchildren, Joseph Venturini, Mark Botterman, Samuel, Gina and Julianne Rice; preceded in death by her husband, Julian in 1979; sisters, Dorothy Olufs, Eleanor Clayton and Irene Bennett. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. Funeral service will be on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Lorraine worked for Taylor Chain for many years and retired from Sherwin Williams Paint Co. She was an avid Cub fan. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sports activities and was exceptionally close to her grandkids. Lorraine was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was a reading grandmother. Contributions to the church in her memory would be appreciated.
