Lynda Urbanczyk, age 47 of Lansing, IL passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Lynda Urbanczyk, age 47 of Lansing, IL passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She is survived by her parents, John “Jim” and Melissa Urbanczyk; aunts and uncles, Darlene Urbanczyk, Rose (Darryl) Seerup, Jackie (Ron) Smith, Mike (Marlene) Yekich, Nick (Sue) Yekich and George Yekich; 16 cousins; and 13 great cousins. Lynda was preceded in death by her grandparents, John (Geraldine) Urbanczyk and Mike (Marie) Yekich; and aunt and uncle, Elaine (Rade) Bozovich.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Monday, at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. service.
Lynda worked at Old Navy where she had many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lynda’s name to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (www.nkfi.org) or to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation (donate.cancer.org)

There are no “exact words” of help that I can express to you both during these times… other than that Lynda NOW is in Paradise where we all hope & plan to be when the Lord calls us! In Heaven…there is no longer illness, suffering or any other type of strife that we all deal with here on earth!
Knowing these things… can certainly help “some” especially during the initial days following the loss of someone so precious to us ALL❣️ It’s the adjustment period following such a HUGE loss… that unfortunately words, pleasantries, and ALL of the BEST OF INTENTIONS may occasionally appear to be futile! I completely understand that these immediate times following such a loss appear to be beyond immeasurable!
Please know THIS, Chicky & Jim… that prayers and understanding that our Dear Lord NOW has now fully embraced Lynda in such a beautiful way that none of us could begin to imagine!!! It’s thoughts such as these that have offered me tremendous comfort as well as helped me through some of the most turbulent times & horrific losses that I’ve endured.
