In loving memory of Lynn Ivey, 65 of Hammond, IN passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Roni (Craig) Ivey-Nerud; son, Scott (Rebecca) Sears; granddaughters, Rhonda Lynn and MacKenzie Gale; brothers, Craig (Michelle) and Chris (Tammy) Rowen; sister, Leslie Rowen; niece, Heidi and family; nephew, Kenny and family, nephew, Brad; cousins, Peggy (Bill) and their kids, Billy, Adam and Matt, Steve (Tammy)and their kids, Steve and Nicole, Paula (Gary) and their kids, Jonathan, Emily and Daniel; longtime friends, Char and Ron and their son, Little Ronnie (Erin) and their kids; preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lorraine Rowen; husband, Joe Ivey; son, Tommy; Aunt Willie and Uncle Jack. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Terrace Park Church of God, 3104 173rd St. Hessville, IN.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family for your loss. Though I had met Lynn probably 10 times I had enough time with her to know that she was a very caring, funny and definitely opinionated and she was not afraid to show any of these traits. She was a wonderful woman and the lord above was gracious to have let her touch so many lives for so long which I am sure seems to be to short to everyone down here. He needed her for something greater which we may not be able to understand right now but she is no longer suffering and she is in a place of such amazement that no words can describe it.
