Margaret A. Forsythe (nee Nelson), 91, of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. She is survived by her daughter: Holly Cummings of Munster, IN; son: Stuart Forsythe of Reno, NV; grandchildren: Erin (Kevin) Tabariasl of Munster, Samuel (Sammie) Cummings of Boonville, IN, and Daniel Forsythe of Hawaii; brother William Nelson of Brookfield, WI; great grandchildren: Kevin and Lydia Tabariasl, and James and Magnolia Cummings. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Lydia Nelson: her loving husband of 53 years, Jack; granddaughters Janel and Audrey Cummings, and brother: Thomas Nelson. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 with interment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Margaret was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and longtime member of Ridge United Methodist Church.
