Margaret R. Kokotis, age 81, of Munster, IN, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. Margaret R. Kokotis, age 81, of Munster, IN, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Andrew Steven Kokotis; daughter, Kathryn (Lawrence) Kokotis; son, Gregory (Rita) Kokotis; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly, Ryan, Anastasia, Antonia, Stathis, George and Christina; and nephews, Michael and Phillip Horvath. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Horvath. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 DIRECTLY at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN, with Rev. Fr. David Bissias, officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 3:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m., with a Trisagion service at 6:00 p.m. Margaret was an avid gardener and loved to travel Europe. She loved her grandchildren, and going on Disney cruises. Margaret’s favorite place to travel was Paris.
