Margie Kowalisyn, 91, of Munster Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband Andrew \”Buck\” Kowalisyn; brother, Leslie \”Bud\” Johnson; sister, Dorothy \”Peggy\” Holbrook; Roy Holbrook, John, Al (Pauline), Bill, Nick (Donna) Kowalisyn, Mary (Bill) Fry, Ann Nelson, Eve Zimmerman. Survived by her children Bruce (Nora Vega) Kowalisyn, Gary Kowalisyn, Sandra (Larry) O'Gean. Grand children Stacey, Jeff, Brian, Amy, and Nancy. Numerous great grandchildren. Also survived by Bob Zimmerman, Shirle Kowalisyn, and many nieces and nephews. Margie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a smile for you and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be on Thursday June 12, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Friday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Historic Maplewood Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
