Margie Phillips, age 91, of Munster, IN passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Charlie) Tarpley and Holly (Ron) Rucinski; grandchildren, Allen Tarpley and Tanya Tarpley; great grandchildren, Katie Bobalik, Tyler Tarpley and Austin Tarpley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Phillips. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, with Pastor Rich Bawinkel, officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Hammond, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service. Margie was proud to retire, after 40 loyal and faithful years, from Phil Schmidt’s in Whiting, IN. Her pride and joy though, were her grandchildren.
