Marjorie F. Bakker, 82 of Dyer, IN formerly of Hammond, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Loving mother of Elizabeth “Betty” (Bill) Kollada, Raymond “Buster” (Carol) Bakker Jr, Larry (Judy) Bakker and Sandy (Jim) Litera; cherished grandmother of Scott Kollada, Amanda (Devin) Mosbrucker, Brandy (Shawn) Donaldson, Mike (Rachel) Bakker, Joe (Jessica) Bakker, Natalie (Matt) Jones, Danny Litera and Chris Bakker; proud great grandmother of seven; preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond J. Bakker Sr.; caring parents, Marion and Helen Zawadzki; fond brother, Edward Zawadzki. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Margie was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and former member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church. She retired from Carson Pirie Scott & Company at Woodmar Mall. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Maria Goretti Church Outreach Program in her memory would be appreciated.
