Mark E. Barker, 63, of Lake Village, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Barker. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Barker; brother, David (Annie) Barker; sisters, Marcia (Robert) Pischner, Diane Glowacki and Donna Mitsos; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Visitation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.Mark served with the U.S. Army. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and hunter. His hobby was wood working. The family would like to thank all Mark’s family and friends at the Flying Elbow in Lake Village for all the love and care they’ve given Mark over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
