Mary E. Szeman, 93 of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015. She is survived by her son, George (Jane) Szeman; daughter, Linda Campbell; grandchildren, Scott Szeman, Laura Szeman, Kelley Campbell, Julie Campbell and Michael Campbell; great granddaughters, Joselyn and Stella Girdner; brother, George (late Cecilia) Pink; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, George Szeman Sr.; parents, George and Theresa Pink; brother, Joseph Pink; sisters, Theresa McCarten and Elizabeth Yaczko. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. Mary retired from Goldblatt’s in downtown Hammond, IN. Mary always made time to listen and help people. She enjoyed her grandchildren and their activities, travelling on family vacations, cooking, baking, and knitting.
