She is survived by her sons, James (Pamela) Condes and John Condes; grandchildren, George (Elizabeth), Michael, Mary, Nicholas and Alexander; great grandchildren, Caleb, Benjamin and Hannah; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Condes; parents, John and Stamata Boosalis; brother, James Boosalis and sister, Georgia Dovolis.Visitation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN. Fr. David Bissias officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.Mary was a church choir member for over 70 years and a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. During World War II, she was the lead secratery for purchasing for the Manhattan Project. She was the Office Manager for Condes Restaurant for many years. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Arthritis Foundation www.arthritis.org or to the choir at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
