Mary Katsimpalis, 89, of DeMotte, IN passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Beloved mother of Helen (late Henry) Garrison, Alan (Maria) Katsimpalis and John (Pamela) Katsimpalis. Loving grandmother of Amy, Elizabeth, Mark, Josh, Adrianna, Ariel and Aaron. Cherished great grandmother of Dylan and Caleb Katsimpalis. Mary had numerous relatives in Croatia. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Katsimpalis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00-10:00 am at the church. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Roselawn, IN. Mary was a member of St. Cecilia Church in DeMotte, IN and a member of the American Legion Post 238 Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org in her memory would be appreciated.
