Matthew G. Krucina, 23 of Lansing, IL passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 13, 2013. He is survived by his mother, Kathie (John) MacDonald and father, Keith Krucina; sisters, Morgan and Mallorie Krucina; maternal grandfather, Gerald (Shawnacy) Yager; paternal grandparents, Matthew ‚ÄúButch‚Äù and Mitzi Krucina; special aunts, Renee (James) Fuller, Karyn (Dave) Metzger, Kris (Jeff) Monken, Kathleen Krucina and Karen (Terry) Jasinski; special uncles, Rick (Sue) Yager and Ken Krucina; numerous cousins; faithful companion, Nala; preceded in death by his his maternal grandmother, Bernadine Yager. Matthew was a devoted son, loving brother and faithful friend. He always had a smile on his face, story to share and a bear hug to give. Matt was employed at KM Industrial, attended TF South High School and was very active in Lansing Youth Sports. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Faith Church, 100 81st Ave. Dyer, IN. Interment will be private.

I knew Matt from when he worked at Walts in Crete. He was a great person and a better friend. I remember the times we hung out in his dads basement playing Skyrim on 2 seperate tv's haha. He knew how to make anyone laugh. The guy was just a gentle giant. I'll miss you bro. And to his family, I'm very sorry for your loss. He is up in heaven making God laugh now. Love you buddy!
