Maxwell Robert Szumski, 2, of St. John, IN, joined Angel in heaven on Monday, August 17, 2009. He is survived by his parents Peggy and Dan Szumski; brother: Zachary Szumski; Paternal grandparents: Ray and Rena Szumski; maternal grandparents: Robert Jr. and Kathy Schneider; maternal great grandparents: Robert (late Rita) Schneider Sr. and Frances (late Stanley) Jastrzab; aunts: Sue (Curt) Bailey, Mary (Rick) Crowley and Jean (Bob) Staack; uncles: Tom (Chris) Schneider and Martin (Maria) Szumski; cousins: Troy and Trent Schneider, Maddie Bailey, Jack and Brigid Crowley, Martin and Lauren Szumski, Ryan and Joe Staack; numerous other family members and loved ones; preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents: Alger and Ruth Lapham, John and Natalie Szumski; Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the University of Chicago Comer Children‚Äôs Hospital www.uchicagokidshospital.org, St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare Center South Campus Emergency Dept. or St. Maria Goretti Church in his memory would be appreciated.
