Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a Vigil Service at 2:30 pm and again on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the church from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2020 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with Reverend Michael Yadron officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
Mercedes was a member of St. Thomas More Church and was employed at Ingalls Hospital, University of Chicago, Harvey, Illinois.
