Michael Albert Frias, age 74 of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.  He is survived by his sons, Michael, Jr. and Joseph; his beloved, Elizabeth “Liz”; siblings, Caroline, Gil, John, Graciela and Emily; nieces Andrea, Alina, Alexandria, Erika, Gracie, Adriana and Danielle; grand nieces, Isabella, Angelina, Ariana, Ariel; great grand nieces, Alana, Noel, Layla and Catalina; and great great grand niece and nephews, Angel, Nolan and Calvin.  Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Ofelia and Jacinto Frias.

Funeral Services will be held DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Knock Catholic Church 501 163^rd St. Calumet City, IL with an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Francisco Luna and Reverend Luis Valerio Romero.  Interment will follow with Military Honors at Assumption Cemetery Glenwood, IL.  Visitation will be on Thursday, at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass.

Michael was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam.  He was an avid fisherman and car afficionado.  Michael was a humble and patient man who also appreciated some of the finer things in life.
